Q: What is PLAYERSPACE?
A: PLAYERSPACE is a sports communication portal that enhances and improves the overall communication for sports leagues and programs.
Q: What information is on PLAYERSPACE?
A: You will find all the essential information for your player(s) league(s). You can find game schedules, snack lists, coach contact information, end of season party information as well as weather status updates and cancelations for games and practices.
Q: Do the parents already have access to PLAYERSPACE?
A: Once a player/child is placed on a team, the parent account has access to the team site.
Q: How can I change a name on my roster?
A: Please contact your league administrator for changes to player names.
Q: How do I add an additional email address for a child?
A: You can include an additional email address by adding it to the main account as a carbon copy. This can be done by following the clickstream Manage Program > Players > Team Assignments > Team Roster > Click Parent's Name > Add Email Address to Carbon Copy List. Parents and players can also do this by logging into their account and going to Account Settings > General Settings > Carbon Copy List.
Q: How do I edit an email address?
A: You will need to contact your Sports Director to update an incorrect email address in the system.
Q: Do I simply give the parents the website address and then they set up their own account?
A: When a parent logs in, he/she will also be able to see the teams their child is on and be able to visit the team’s website. You may also give the parents the team’s URL.
Q: When we send a message to the team, and someone replies to that message where is the reply sent?
A:You will receive the reply in your external email and the reply will also be located in your PLAYERSPACE messages.
Q: How can I limit what is posted on the home page?
A: As a coach, only you are able to post homepage content and news articles. You can also control what is viewable on the homepage by customizing the team’s privacy settings. This is done by following the clickstream Login > Visit Team Homepage > Settings > Privacy Controls.
Q: What if I am not receiving emails from PLAYERSPACE?
A: Be sure to check your junk, trash and spam folders for PLAYERSPACE. You will need to add notifications@playerspace.com to your safe sender list.
Q: What information will I be responsible for posting on PLAYERSPACE?
A: As a coach, you will be responsible for posting snack lists, your contact information, end of season party information and practice cancelations. You will also be responsible for communicating with your team via the message center. Game schedules will be posted by your Sports Director.
Q: I have more than one child and I can only see one of my child's team information. How do I see me other child's information?
A: Make sure you are not on your child’s dashboard and you are logged in as yourself as the master account. To tell if you are logged in as one of your children, look to see if your name or your child’s name is next to the word dashboard at the top of the page. To easily login as yourself, simply visit playerspace.com and login with your credentials that were e-mailed by your Sports Director.
