A Venue is the physical location where games will be played.
Examples are parks, YMCAs, or schools
Game Locations are locations at, or in a venue, such as fields or courts
Click League/Pool Play then Locations & Timeslots
Prior to Generating Schedules, you will need to create timeslots
Timeslots can be created for all of your game locations, all at once
NOTE: Timeslot lengths often vary by division, making it necessary to create timeslots one division at a time
Click League/Pool Play
Then click Locations & Timeslots
Assigning Home Teams ensures games are balanced proportionately across venues if multiple venues are involved
Example: You have 10 Teams; PLAYERSPACE will attempt to create a schedule as follows:
Venue A - 5 Teams - 50% of Games played at Venue A
Venue B - 3 Teams - 30% of Games played at Venue B
Venue C - 2 Teams - 20% of Games played at Venue C
To assign teams to home locations:
Expand the League/Pool Play tab
Click the 2nd tab titled Team Homes
Click the tab titled Program Blackouts
Using the Program Blackouts tool allows a Program Director to blackout certain dates prior to creating timeslots for games & practices
This is especially useful when season dates include holidays, or days that gym/field space is limited
Automatically prevent teams from playing at certain times or at certain locations based on coach request or coach availability
These timeslots will automatically be EXCLUDED for the selected teams when you generate schedules
There are 2 options you can choose from
Click the tab titled Team Blackouts
