  • I have certain email and text messaging templates I want to make available for my staff to select when messaging. How do I add them in to PLAYERSPACE?

Answer: The Message Template section allows you to create custom emails message templates that can be used across ALL the programs for ALL branches.

  • What are Mappable Keywords, and how do I use them?

AnswerMappable Keywords are links that can be inserted into a message, and can be used to send out links to team rosters, game schedules, and a variety of other important information.

  • I have a parent with multiple kids in my program, and I do not want them to receive the same email several times. How can I ensure they only receive one copy of my message?

AnswerRecipient Settings within the PLAYERSPACE messaging system allow you to select Master Accounts ONLY, which will only send the email to the parent once.

  • I want to message every player that has ever participated in one of my leagues. How can I do this?               

Answer: Custom Recipient Lists can be set up to ensure that you're able to send targeted messages from any program whenever you need to.

  • How can I see who is opening my emails?

Answer: You have the ability to view all the messages that have been sent from your program, as well as all the messages sent from each individual team and group with the Program Message History and Team Message History.

  • I have a parent who inadvertently opted out of receiving email and/or text messages. How can I opt them back in?

AnswerBy going to the Opt-Outs & Bounces Report, you will be able to see a list of all the account members who have opted out of receiving emails or text messages. This is where you would opt them back in.  

  • I have a parent who is not receiving emails, but is not opted out. What could be the reason for this?

Answer: The main reason for this, would be that the parent has an incorrect email address in the system. The second most common reason would be that the recipient has not added the PLAYERSPACE domain to their safe sender list. 

  • How can I add an additional email address for a particular player?

Answer: There are a couple options for you here. Option 1: You can add the person as a fan of the team that player is on. Option 2: You can add the additional email address to the Carbon Copy under the player's profile on their roster.
